From a lifetime of inflammation to healed and spiritually whole through alternative therapies and connection to the Great Healer.

As a child, I was influenced by poverty to employ alternatives to Western medicine. I remember boric acid eye compresses for styes and drawing salves for chronic boils. As I matured and became a mother, I relied on many of these remedies for my own children. I learned as a young mother how our diet affects our well-being. I used food as medicine to help stabilize hormones, reduce inflammation, and achieve a healthy weight.
